What is ESN?
ESN Oulu is a section of the Student Union of the University of Oulu. We focus on organizing free time activities for international students. Our goal is to bring you closer to the Finnish life and make your stay in Oulu as fun and memorable as possible. Our section is part of Erasmus Student Network that consists of almost 300 local sections in 33 countries and supports and develops student exchange.
ESN is run by students working on a voluntary basis. We visit interesting places, party, cook, do sports and organize social and cultural events. Or to put it even simpler: we have fun together! ESN wants to make sure that everyone enjoys their stay in Finland!
To get all the information on our activities and events, join the exchange –mailing list. ESN Oulu also has its own Facebook group (ESN Oulu) that you can join to receive invitations through Facebook.

Mailing lists
As informing of all ESN activities and events happens in the exchange- mailing list and on these webpages, it´s highly recommendable to join to the exchange-list to be up to date of our events.

Exchange - mailing list includes also number of other people than just exchange students, usually about 500 members during the semesters. On the exhange list ESN will also inform you about all the student parties and other events that ESN recommends to you.
Foreignstudents is a list mostly for degree students, less crowded
