Oulun ylioppilasapu gives scholarships to students studying for Bachelor's or Master's degree in the University of Oulu. Application period for the scholarships in 2010 is 1.2.-5.3.2010.
50 years by your side –OYYeah!
50 years of the Student Union of the University of Oulu
The student union celebrates its 50 years of history during the term of 2009-2010. The members of the union, the university staff, collaborators and the other people in Oulu will get to enjoy various celebratory events to find out about our past accomplishments and particularly our future pursuits.
The three main events of the year are Vulcanalia, the festival to celebrate the start of the new term, Independence Day procession in December and the official Anniversary week with a grand dinner and a ball in February. On top of these OYY organizes a celebratory meeting of the Council of Representatives and Culture Wednesdays that display student culture. As a grand final in May 2010, the history of the Student Union is published. The history is a story of the student union growing alongside with the university and the city.
