Take it or Leave it – Stuff Edition (stuff recycling event) on Oct. 12th at 9-15

OYY, together with OUAS and PSOAS, are organizing a Take it or Leave it – Stuff Edition recycling event during the Sustainability Week (41). The aim is to give items that are just lying around a new life by recycling them and passing them on to those who need them.

Do you have items to give away?
We accept small items such as utensils, pots, pans, and old appliances that still work, such as coffee machines, toasters, rice cookers or even a desk lamp, baskets, hangers, etc. Please note that the items should be intact and preferably small in size. Unfortunately we do not accept furniture or other large items. A good way to measure if the item size is okay is to ask yourself 1) does it fit to IKEA bag and 2) can you carry it by yourself?

There you can also see an information session about recycling clothes organized by Telaketju project at 10 (only in Finnish). The presentation can also be followed remotely. At the end of the day, the rest of the clothes will be delivered to Kontti.
