The Student Union organized the Student Council elections on 1–6 November 2019. 37 members and their deputy members were selected for a two-year term in the Student Council, the highest decision-making body in OYY.

Student Societies
All in all, there are about 40 subject societies and about 50 interest societies at the University of Oulu. Also, almost all of the faculties have their own umbrella guilds.

Our office locates in the center of the Linnanmaa Campus.

The OYY office is located at the heart of the Linnanmaa campus area. At the office, you can pay your admission fee for the Student Union, pick up your student card, get the Sports Pass and ask for any advice you might need in your student life.
