18 applicants for the OYY Board!

OYY’s board for the year 2025 will be elected in the student council meeting 4 December.

The application for the OYY Board for 2025 closed on Wednesday 27.11., and there were 18 applicants in total. That means that there are more people interested in working in the board than in a long time! There were applicants from a wide range of faculties and backgrounds. 

The Board will be elected at the Student Council meeting at the City Hall on Wednesday 4 December at 17:00. At the same meeting, the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Student Council for 2025 will also be elected. Those elected as the Council’s Chairs must be full members of the Council, but all members of the Student Union were eligible to apply for the Board. Vilma Sippola has already been elected Chair of the Board at the previous meeting.
