The University Collegium is, along with the University Board, the most influential institution of our University. The Collegium consists of 24 members, whose representation covers the different groups of the University community. 8 actual student representatives and 8 personal substitute members are elected to the Collegium of the University of Oulu for a two-year term, of which an application for substitute member position is being made for the remaining term 2024-2025.

The Collegium’s duties include, for example, deciding on the number of board members and confirming the board members’ selections, confirming the financial statements and annual report, granting freedom of responsibility and releasing board members from their duties.
