The new halloped positions for administrative student representatives for Faculty of Technology degree students are now open!
We are looking for student representatives in administration also known as hallopdes for 2025. In these positions, you will have the opportunity to influence the development of the faculty-specific issues! Apply by March 17th!
In the University of Oulu, students are represented by student representatives, known as hallopeds. A halloped, or student representative in university administration, serves as the voice of students in decision-making. At the University of Oulu, there are over a hundred hallopeds who influence all areas of university governance, from the Board of Directors to degree program committees.
Open positions are available in the following commitees of the Faculty of Technology:
- Education Committee
- Faculty Board
The committees meet on average 2–5 times per semester, and it is possible to get study credits for participation. Student members receive a fee of €41.20 per meeting, provided they are not part of the university staff.
