Student representatives wanted! In this call there are spots for a two year term in UniOGS working groups as well as additional spots in university and faculty-level groups till the end of 2023! Apply from halloped.fi!

In the University of Oulu students are represented by student representatives. They are also called hallopeds (from Finnish ”hallinnon opiskelijaedustaja”, which translates to student representative). A student representative is the voice of students in decision making. There are more than a hundred student representatives in the University of Oulu. They have in the University’s governance ranging from the Board of Directors to Degree Programme Committees. The spots are open for all students that have enrolled in for the ongoing semester and are members of the student union. The faculty-specific positions are meant for students that are primarily studying in the faculty in question.

 

In this call we are filling the following positions:

University of Oulu

  • Equality and diversity committee (0+2) (Member + Deputy)
  • Equality and Diversity Working Group of the Faculties of Technology and Science (0+1)
  • Student Wellbeing Working Group (0+2)
  • Restaurant Working Group of Uniresta (0+1)
  • Restaurant Working Group of Juvenes (0+1)
  • Sustainable Development Working Group (0+1)
  • Equality and Diversity Working Group of Faculties of Education and Psychology and Humanities and Oulu Business School (0+1)

Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine FBMM:

  • Faculty Board: 1+2  
  • Education Committee: 0+1

Faculty of Science FSci:

  • tiedekuntahallitus: 0+1

UniOGS Doctoral Programme Committee:

  • Doctoral Programme Committee of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (DPC ITEE): 2+0
  • Doctoral Programme Committee of Health and Biosciences (DPC HBS): 1+0
