Hurmos 2025 kicks off the academic year with a festival vibe for the fifth time!
This year Hurmos is celebrated 11–12 September
Autumn is set to begin with a bang as all higher education students in Oulu come together to celebrate Hurmos for the fifth time on 11–12 September. The full line-up is out, and on Friday 12 September, TUULI, ELLIMEI, Ares and Ege Zulu will be hitting the stage at Kuusisaari. Joining them to keep the crowd moving are Booty Nonstop, DJ Valyric and Geld Pipers.
Hosting the evening are the queens of Tampere: Carrie, Tina the Balleriina and Aurora the Queen of Stars, who will ensure the energy stays high throughout the night.
Tickets will be released in two batches: the first on 25 August and the second on 1 September, giving freshers a fair chance to grab theirs!
As per tradition, Hurmos also includes a daytime event on Thursday, taking over the Linnanmaa campus from 12:00 to 17:00. Visitors will have the chance to explore student societies, companies and other organisations. There will be a wide range of extra activities, and of course, the opportunity to add to your overall patch collection!
Hurmos is a joint event organised by the Student Union of the University of Oulu (OYY), the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OSAKO), and the Student Union of Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (O’Diako). It brings together all higher education students in Oulu to celebrate the start of the academic year.
