OYY 65 years!
Welcome to celebrate together the 65-year anniversary of the Student Union of the University of Oulu on February 22, 2025!
OYY was founded in 1959, so now we are already celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Student Union. Throughout history, the Student Union has had many different activities, but the most important goal has always been the same: a good life for the student.
The anniversary week starts on Saturday 15 February when we celebrate ‘Väyläsitsit’, or University hallway sitsit. During the anniversary week 17.2.-23.2., we have various events on both campuses. The Annos 65th anniversary will be celebrated on Saturday, 22 February. At the annual celebration, academic honorary decorations are also awarded to meritorious members and alumni.
