OYY's Wellbeing Week offers a varied programme!

Week 15 is Student Mental Health Week and as part of this, OYY is organising a Wellbeing Week! You are welcome to participate in the week’s events. 

Wellbeing Week is full of different events promoting wellbeing. The main events of the week, the Wellbeing fairs, will take place on Tuesday 8 April at Kontinkangas campus and Wednesday 9 April at Linnanmaa campus. At the fairs, you can get to know a variety of wellbeing operators. You can visit the stands between 10 am and 3 pm. 

During the week, you can also get to know different sports services, as students’ own Unimove and Fitness 24/7 will offer opportunities to get to try out their services. You can find out more about Unimove’s membership offer and open hours on the Unimove website. Fitness 24/7 is free to visit from Monday to Friday between 14:00 and 19:00. 

On Thursday 10 April, FSHS will be holding a webinar titled ”Calming Social Anxiety” from 14.00 to 15.30, which you can follow in room IT115. After the webinar, you can stay in the room to discuss the topic with FSHS experts. The webinar is in Finnish. On Thursday, you can also take advantage of the Walk in Therapy services in St Luke’s Chapel 3-5 pm. 

On Friday at the Linnanmaa campus, you can leave good vibes and share positive thoughts on the Good Vibes Wall on the green coat racks from 10 am to 2 pm.

In addition to all this, Unimove is organising a Wellbeing Day on 12 April, with Afro-dance, restorative yoga, sound bowl and deep relaxation, among other things. Sign up on the Unimove website, as places are limited!
