OYY 66 years!
OYY was founded in 1959, so now we are already celebrating the 66th anniversary of the Student Union. Throughout history, the Student Union has had many different activities, but the most important goal has always been the same: a good life for the student.
The anniversary week starts on Saturday 21 February when we celebrate ‘Väyläsitsit’, or University hallway sitsit. During the anniversary week 23.2.-1.3., we have various events on both campuses. The Annos 66th anniversary will be celebrated on Saturday, 28 February. At the annual celebration, academic honorary decorations are also awarded to meritorious members and alumni.
