Place: Tellus Backstage, Linnanmaa campus
The event will be kicked off with a discussion about developing the university’s operations. What kind of development projects are going on, and how studying at the university of Oulu can be the best possible experience for students? Personnel from the university will give an introduction on the topic and join us in the discussion.
In addition, the discussion will look ahead to the upcoming parliamentary elections. What goals and wishes do students have, and what topics should be highlighted in conversations with politicians?
The second group will focus on international affairs, particularly on the share of international students in the results of the working life survey. The discussion in this group will be held in English. The third group will delve into current issues in academic affairs, both locally and on a national level.
Advocacy Section is an event open to all our members, and it’s organised four times per year. It’s an event for discussion about studying and student societies current issues. You can take part in English or in Finnish! You can either take part in the discussion or just join in to listen.
