In studies being completed in Finland, Finnish citizens and, within certain conditions, other countries’ citizens are entitled to the Study grant. In degree studies abroad, you may also be entitled to the Study grant within certain conditions. The Study grant is the primary source of income for students. Students may also be entitled to the General housing allowance, the Study Grant with the Provider supplement, the Parental allowance, the Unemployment benefit and the Basic social assistance.
